I initially had issues with the stock "shortening" as i shot, but once i torqued the screw down further, that fixed the issue. That is one thing I like about Coda: torquing the barrel nut to spec doesn't impact aligning the handguard. The only issue I have - which is different in the Faxon and Smoke Composites - is there are just thin holes in the carbon fiber with little bolts holding it to the metal mounting ring. I fear flexing will tear up those little holes.The PRI Carbon Fiber handguards are heavier than all of the more modern CF handguards and are similar in weight to quad rails.
